The event: Our annual Farm-to-Table Festival, held on September 25th at our farm in Springfield, IL. The festival featured live music, farm tours, and a dinner made entirely from our own organic produce.
Key moments: Our keynote speaker, Chef Alice Waters, delivered an inspiring talk about the importance of sustainable agriculture and the impact it has on our health and the environment. She said, "Every time we eat, we have an opportunity to make a difference in the world. Supporting local, organic agriculture is the best way to do that." The farm tour was also a hit, with visitors learning about our sustainable farming practices and getting a firsthand look at how we grow our produce. The dinner was a highlight, featuring dishes like roasted heirloom tomatoes, grilled zucchini, and a beet and goat cheese salad.
Feelings: We were thrilled to see so many people come out to support local, organic agriculture at our Farm-to-Table Festival. It was inspiring to hear Chef Alice Waters speak about the impact of sustainable agriculture and the importance of supporting small, local farmers. We also loved seeing visitors enjoy the dinner, which showcased the best of our own organic produce. It was a reminder of why we do what we do and why we're so passionate about bringing healthy, sustainably grown food to our community.
